What is cold cast iron?
Sometimes known as iron resin or resin iron, the finish resembles proper, foundry cast iron but at a significantly lower cost.
Cold casting is a general term used to describe the process of mixing metal powder with a resin to create authentic looking castings that give the appearance of solid metal. It is mostly used with bronze or brass finishes but other metals, such as rusty iron, can also be created.
